Self directed Montessori work periods allows each child to work at their own pace and interest level.

Our program accommodates the needs of children ages 2-5. The multilevel age group allows older children to develop leadership skills and younger children to observe the scope of educational opportunities.

Meadows Montessori director Mrs. Emita Talbot has been involved in Early Childhood Education for over twenty years - the past five have been teaching in a Montessori classroom. Mrs. Talbot is a qualified Montessori Teacher, who also holds a diploma in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor in Religious Education.

Mrs. Talbot has a love for children and a deep belief in the benefits of the Montessori philosophy. Two of her own three children received an early education in the Montessori method. She has seen first hand how it contributes to the formative years of a child's development.
